Benjamim
Based on the book of the same name by Chico Buarque de Holanda, the film tells the story of a dangerous love story in two parts, separated by a timelapse of 30 years. When meeting the young woman Ariela Masé (Cléo Pires), who bears a striking resemblance to the a great love from his past, the veteran and forgotten model Benjamim Zambraia (Paulo José) relives the delights and horrors of passion. The “reincarnation” of his beloved Castana Beatriz (Cléo Pires), who died in the 1960s by the military dictatorship, has something more to offer him: settling scores with his own conscience.
