Nina (Guta Stresser) is a young woman with an acute sensitivity and weak mind who seeks means of survival in an inhumane metropolis. The owner of the apartment she rents, Dona Eulália (Myriam Muniz), is a mean old woman and an exploiter who seems to take pleasure in crushing the will of her exhausted tenant. Amid the drawings she makes everywhere and living the bustling electronic scene of São Paulo, Nina plunges into the ghosts of her unconscious mind until she gets caught up in a crime.
